MUSIC
Tewkesbury Medieval Festival present
Schelmish

Schelmish (mischievous) was formed in 1999.  The success of the first concerts proved that the Schelms were on their way, and so a band was born, which shows its flare not only at medieval markets, banquets, and in the live role-play scene, but increasingly at their own concerts.  Not only famous in their  native Germany, the Schelms are already well known throughout Europe and are fast gaining a high reputation in the UK with many thousands of established fans.

Please visit www.schelmishuk.co.uk for more information about the band.

Please note that the dress code for this concert is Medieval to Post-Modern.

At some yet to be agreed date, we’ll be putting on a play in the Abbey. This is in connection with the Medieval Festival, but won’t be over the weekend.

The script is by Bernie, the direction will be by TADS. None of the parts have a lot of lines, and there will be lots of non-speaking parts, for townspeople, monks and soldiers.

Help this great event prosper and grow.

Tewkesbury Medival Festival may be the biggest and best of its kind, but it is struggling financially. You can help it by enrolling as a Friend of the festival.

For an annual subscription of just £10 you will receive a certificate of membership, newsletters, keeping you in touch with what is going on, and occasional social events.

There will also be the opportunity to become more involved in the actual running of the event, for those who are interested - but your biggest reward will be the knowledge that you are helping keep this event, which celebrates an important part of the town's history alive and is a major part of the yearly calendar, running.

You can join at this year's event or send a cheque made out to Tewkesbury Medieval Festival to TMF PO Box 147, Tewkesbury GL20 9AP, marking your envelope, Friends
