By car
- Tewkesbury is about a mile from junction 9 of the M5. Follow the signs to Tewkesbury Medieval Festival.
- The Festival will be clearly signed from all directions, Please follow these, not your satnav/friends advice
- Lincoln Green Lane is the entrance - Lower Lode Lane will be closed.
- Please do not try to Right Turn from Gloucester Road to Lincoln Green Lane.

By rail or bus
- Ashchurch is Tewkesbury's Rail station. There is a regular bus service from there into town - 41 or 42. Check the timetable. Service 42 does not pass the site entrance.
- Cheltenham has more trains but it is a long haul from Railway to Bus. Stagecoach runs busses D, P and Q from the station into town, from where you can pick up the 41 or 42 to Tewkesbury. National Express run the NX444 to Tewkesbury, but on a less regular basis.
