Tewkesbury’s Medieval
Banners & Flags


We hope you enjoyed seeing all the medieval flags displayed around the town last year. They are all hand made by volunteers and are accurate copies of the banners used by the various
factions involved in the Battle of Tewkesbury in May 1471.

Help Wanted

If you´d like to volunteer, Come along, The Annexe, Barton Road, Tewkesbury is booked for EVERY THURSDAY EVENING, 7.30 to 9.30. This means that people can drop in when they have time to spare, can paint there or can collect materials to paint at home. Also, we’ll be finishing in good time to have a sociable pint before going home, for those who need an excuse!
