Tewkesbury Medieval Festival is run entirely by volunteers. Funding for 2009 is from: Tewkesbury Town Council £500, revenue from on-site traders and caterers, advertising, and from donations. Our costs are approximately £50,000 to include security, tentage, toilets, first aid, entertainers, etc. We would like the event to continue for many years to come - please help us in this aim.

About Tewkesbury
Tewkesbury is a small Gloucestershire market town standing at the confluence of the rivers Severn and Avon. It has a magnificent Abbey - now the Parish Church and the second largest in the country. It also has a wealth of medieval building, and is so well preserved it is one of just six gem towns in the country. Every summer the town centre is decorated with colourful medieval banners, based on those carried in the battle of Tewkesbury.
